Demon Deals - FAQ

When does the next update get released?

The team does not give out a release date until QA testing begins, usually a handful of weeks before release. However, weekly progress logs are posted on our , , and .

These can help visualize development progress, and allow you to get an idea of how close we are to the next update!

What's in the next update?

Sunny the psychologist is being worked on for v0.07.

As always, Leslie will also get some content.

How do you choose what to put in the next update?

Updates follow this pattern: v0.XX -> v0.XX.5 -> v0.XX
For example: v0.05 -> v0.05.5 -> v0.06

Focus girls
v0.XX updates (e.g., v0.05) are focus girl updates. These updates complete the girl's entire route in one go—although bonus content is a possibility.

The chosen focus girl is determined through subscriber-only votes on our in a tournament bracket.
Each week the girls face off in these votes, and the last one standing becomes the focus girl for that update. These tournaments typically begin during the production of the current focus girl's update.

Core Four updates
v0.XX.5 updates (e.g., v0.05.5) are "Core Four" updates. These continue the content focused around the four girls: Ashley, Brandy, Cassie, and Leslie.

Leslie always receives content in every update, including focus girl updates—unless otherwise stated.

Bonus content
Eventually, bonus content will be added to the game. "Bonus content" refers to additional content for girls whose routes have already been completed. For example, this could include a new animation or content featuring other completed characters.

The bonus content options will be decided by the team, and voted on by subscribers. Relevant details will be provided when the voting begins.

Where do I get the game?

PC, macOS, Linux, and Android (mobile) downloads can be found on the downloads page.

Pick a download location there, and select the appropriate option for your device.

How do I start at the latest update/content?

Start a new game, and you will get the option to begin at the latest content without needing to use old saves.

I've run into a bug, what do I do?

Make sure you've downloaded the game from our downloads page and not elsewhere. For installation and game launch issues, try reading the README file that came with the download. It will help troubleshoot the most common issues.

How do I use my old save(s)?

Transferring/moving saves
The easiest way is to drag the save folder from the old version into the new one (and overwrite if needed).

To access the saves on macOS, right-click Game.app and click "Show Package Contents", then navigate to: Contents -> Resources -> app.nw.

Old saves
Your old save will work with the latest version. Should that not be the case for some reason, we will let everyone know when an update gets released. We try our best to avoid breaking saves as much as possible.

Android (mobile) saves
Simply updating the app will transfer your saves over automatically. Deleting the app will wipe your saves—this cannot be undone. If you've accidentally deleted your saves, then we recommend making use of the included save described above.

I'm stuck, how do I continue progressing?

Hit the J key (if on non-mobile) to open your Journal, or open it via the menu, and take a look at what your quests say to do. Make sure you are looking in the "Active" tab and not the "Completed" tab.

If you need more help, you can join the and check out the more detailed FAQ on there which has gameplay-related help. Or ask for guidance in the #help-and-bug-report channel!

How do I know that I've completed all available content?

Your journal, accessed via the J key (on non-mobile) or in the menu, will tell you about any active quests you still have left. If it says everything is completed, you are done. Make sure you are looking in the "Active" tab and not the "Completed" tab.
Content that is not part of the journal can be found below.

Repeatable content
Some content you experience in quests will be repeatable by interacting with the related character(s) again.
Sometimes, completing a character's route will unlock entirely new content that wasn't part of their quests.

Collectibles
Espectra Comics can be found around the world.

Will you make more games?

Yes, another game is already planned. However, we will not be putting resources into that game until Demon Deals is complete.

More details will be released at a later time, likely once we near the completion of Demon Deals.
